Chick-fil-A Opening New Macomb County Restaurant Next Week

The popular fast-food restaurant is best known for its chicken sandwiches, waffle fries and signature Chick-fil-A dipping sauce.

CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI — Chick-fil-A will open a new restaurant in Macomb County next week, according to a news release.

The new restaurant will open at 27322 23 Mile Rd. in Chesterfield Township, next Thursday, Nov. 17, according to a news release.

local Owner-Operator, John Shamam, a metro Detroit native, will be responsible for all day-to-day activities at the new restaurant, which will be open for dine-in, drive-thru and carry-out from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

To celebrate the opening of the new restaurant, Chick-fil-A, Inc. has donated $25,000 to Feeding America to support local hunger relief in the area. The funds will be distributed to Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan and Forgotten Harvest, two partners of Feeding America dedicated to addressing food insecurity.

The new Chick-fil-A in Chesterfield Township comes after restaurant officials announced plans last month to open between 25-30 new restaurants in Michigan over the next few years.

The new Chesterfield Township restaurant joins 15 other Chick-fil-A restaurants in the metro Detroit area, including nearby locations in Allen Park, Detroit Metro Airport and Livonia.
