The Macomb Organization for Retiree Enrichment (MORE), a lifelong learning initiative presented by Macomb Community College, will offer nearly 30 in-person courses during its fall semester Oct. 25 through Nov. 19. The courses each last approximately two hours, with 30 minutes reserved for a question-and-answer period. For a registration fee of $75, members can sign up for as many as 10 courses ranging from technology to music to health. Each class is limited to 20 participants.

“We’re excited to be able to come back together in-person this semester to continue to learn about the world around us and recapture the social element of Macomb’s MORE program,” said William Wood, director, Cultural Affairs and Community Engagement, Macomb Community College. “With the courses offered this semester, every MORE member will find engaging opportunities to learn something new.”

MORE will also offer two roundtables in which members have the opportunity to discuss topics of interest from previous sessions and reflect on the program as a whole. All courses, including the roundtables, will be held in the Macomb University Center, which is located on the college’s Center Campus in Clinton Township. Courses may be converted to a virtual format if necessary if COVID-19 precaution guidelines change.
