
A 73-year-old Macomb Township man died Sunday after his Jeep crashed into a guardrail on I-94 near County Line Road in Chesterfield Township, Channel 4 reports.
Michigan State Police identified the driver as William Skerchock, according to the television station.
Witnesses told investigators a dog had been jumping inside the SUV before the Jeep lost control around 3 p.m. The dog was also pronounced dead at the scene, The Macomb Daily reports.
