1 Dead After Fiery Crash On Hines Dr In Wayne County: Police

Police said the driver left the roadway and slammed into a bridge.

NORTHVILLE TOWNSHIP, MI — One person is dead after a Friday morning single-car fiery crash in Northville Township, according to police.

The crash happened at 10 a.m. Friday on Hines Drive near Six Mile Road, according to police.

Police said the 37-year-old driver was moving south on Hines Drive where they went off the road and hit the base of the Six Mile Road bridge.

The car immediately caught fire, trapping the driver inside the car, according to police.

Police do not know what caused the driver to leave the roadway and were still investigating the crash.
