1 Seriously Hurt In Northville Township Crash With Semi Truck: Police

Police said the crash happened Monday afternoon on Five Mile Road between Beck and Ridge roads.

NORTHVILLE TOWNSHIP, MI — A driver was seriously injured in a Northville Township crash Monday, according to police.

Police said the driver of a small sedan crossed over into oncoming traffic on Five Mile Road between Beck and Ridge roads at 1 p.m. and smashed into a semi truck, according to police.

Officials extricated the driver from the sedan and took him to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police.

The semi truck driver was not injured in the crash and is cooperating with investigators, according to police.

Investigators do not believe drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash, according to police.
