2 Arrested After Northville Mail Carrier Robbed At Gunpoint: Police
Police said the robbery happened in broad daylight in the area of Silver Spring Drive and 8 Mile Road.

NORTHVILLE TOWNSHIP, MI — Two suspected robbers were arrested in connection to an armed robbery of a postal worker Tuesday in Northville Township, according to police.
Police said two people dressed in all-black clothing and wearing ski masks approached a postal carrier with a gun at 12:45 p.m. in the area of Silver Spring Drive and Eight Mile Road and "forcibly demanded" keys to postal boxes.
The robbers then drove away from the area in a newer-model mid-size silver Hyundai SUV, according to police.

Livonia Officers found the Hyundai SUV driving on Interstate 96 near Middlebelt Road and stopped the SUV, police said.
Police did not report any injuries.
