Amerman Elementary School Places First at Science Tournament
Twenty-two students from the school's Science Olympiad Team won first place.

The Science Olympiad Team won the first place trophy for best overall performance at the South Macomb District Tournament Saturday, March 10. Twenty-two students from Amerman spent an exhilarating day competing against 16 other teams from the tri-county area. In January, Amerman 3rd, 4th and 5th graders on the team began training in the 16 different types of Science Olympiad events that focus on various fields of science and engineering.
In addition to the first place trophy, team members won medals in the following events:
