Girls Lacrosse Training Plus More for the Week Ahead

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your week in Northville.

1. In case you missed it

Two white-feathered friends visited downtown Northville, along with a crowd of humans, for the Buy Michigan Now Festival. 

2. Local voice of the week
An industrious Northville youngster, who partnered with a local grocery store was among the “lemonaders” celebrated at the third Lemonade Day Detroit Awards Ceremony July 30 at Huntington Bank. Alexis Roberts, 10, of Northville was the top money earner. 

3. Save the dateCome out and cheer on the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day Walkers as they embark upon day two.  These walkers will walk 20 miles on Friday, Saturday and Sunday to promote awareness and support research and treatment for Breast Cancer patients.

4. For your informationAs many in the community know, Marquis Theatre founder and owner Inge Zayti died last week. Her colleagues and friends agree that she made the Marquis Theatre what it is today -- a landmark in Northville. What memories do you have of "Miss Inge"?
