The remaining portion of Main Street will be undertaken after school lets out in mid June with completion in August. Watermain construction will also begin in May on S. Rogers Street with completion of S. Rogers Street road work also planned for August."

MDOT will oversee the construction. According to city documents, the paving projects will take place in areas regarded by city officials as being in "poor condition." The water main construction is expected to improve water reliability in the southwest part of the city.
