No Immediate Plans Set For Demolished Site at Northville and Seven Mile Roads

You might notice something different when you drive east on Seven Mile toward Northville Road. Demolition of a building near the intersection began last week, said Jim Gallogly, city director of Public Works.

It was previously approved by Northville's city council for a produce market, with dine in and out options, he said.

"That didn’t proceed and the property sold to a different party," Gallogly said.

Northville resident and businessman Jeff Snyder, who owns property next to the building, bought the building but has no immediate plans for it.

"The building was not repairable," Snyder said. "We’re just clearing it."
