Northville School Bus Slides off Road Into Tree
Nobody was injured on the bus heading to Winchester Elementary School Tuesday morning.

A Northville school bus heading to Winchester Elementary School slid off the roadway and into a tree on Franklin Road Tuesday morning, according to an email from the Winchester listserv.
None of the 18 students on the bus were injured and they were able to board another bus to school.

For your awareness, there was a bus incident involving Bus N resulting from icy road conditions. The vehicle was driven by an experienced driver, and was on Franklin when it started to slide. The bus slid off the road sideways, into a tree, and came to a stop. No student or adult injuries were reported. At the time, the bus was carrying 18 students. Police arrived at the scene, and requested that students disembark the bus. These students then walked to the Meads Mill parking lot, and loaded another District bus to complete the route to Winchester. Students arrived at school at approximately 9:00 a.m., and continued with their regular school day.
