Person Steals Bike While Owner Sleeps

Someone stole a bike June 28 from a Northville Township home while the resident was sleeping, according to a Northville Township police report.

The man said he thought he closed his garage door of his home on the 19000 block of Clement Road before going to sleep, the report said. However, the door malfunctions causing it to sometimes stay open, according the report.

The man went to his garage the next afternoon and saw that his bike had been taken from the hooks in the ceiling, the report said. 

Nothing else was taken and there was no evidence.
