T.J. Maxx Opens New Store In Northville Township

The new store opened Thursday on the corner of Six Mile and Haggerty roads​ in Northville Township.

NORTHVILLE TOWNSHIP, MI — A new T.J. Maxx store opened Thursday in Northville Township.

The new store, located at 17223 Haggerty Road, on the corner of Six Mile and Haggerty roads, opened Thursday in the former space of Bed Bath & Beyond, which closed in 2022. It relocated from 30965 S Mile Rd., Livonia.

The new store is also roughly 23,800 square feet, and features an easy to shop layout, bright and spacious dressing rooms and single line queue for faster checkout, according to a company spokesperson.

"Our newest store in Northville will offer an ever-changing selection of high-quality, on-trend and brand-name merchandise at the amazing prices T.J.Maxx is known for. Our buyers create a unique mix that offers value for styles in every department, and we’re excited to bring this experience to a new neighborhood," President of T.J.Maxx Peter Benjamin said. "With a constant flow of new arrivals, we offer an exciting one-stop-shop that makes it easy for consumers to stay on-trend with styles they love and save big every single day."

To celebrate the new location, the company will contribute to the local community by donating $10,000 to a local charity of the store’s choosing, according to a company spokesperson.

The new store will also join all other stores nationwide in sponsoring Save the Children’s U.S. Programs through T.J.Maxx’s annual in-store fundraising campaign, according to a company spokesperson.

T.J. Maxx has over 1,200 stores in 49 states and Puerto Rico. Shoppers can find a rotating selection of discounted brand name and designer products ranging from clothes, accessories and jewelry to home, beauty and more. The parent company of T.J. Maxx also owns Marshalls, HomeGoods, Sierra, Homesense and Winners.

T.J. Maxx has locations nearby in Canton, Novi and Farmington.
