1 Injured In Shootout At Oakland County Restaurant: Reports

NOVI, MI — A man was injured Tuesday night in a shootout at a popular dining spot in Oakland County, according to multiple reports citing police.

Officials said the man was eating inside the Black Rock Steakhouse in Novi near Twelve Mile Crossing at Fountain Walk when he noticed two people inside his Dodge Challenger Scat Pack, reports said.

When the man confronted the two possible car thieves in the parking, the two exchanged gunfire that left the car owner injured as the two suspects ran away, reports said.

He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was expected to survive, reports said.
