5 Things to Know About Novi High School's Graduation

graduation ceremony is Saturday — are you ready? Here's the important information you need to know about commencement:

1. Time

The ceremony begins at 7 p.m., but seniors must arrive by 6 p.m. on Saturday. Doors open to the public at 6:15 p.m.

2. Location

Commencement will be held at Eastern Michigan University's Convocation Center in Ypsilanti. The address to plug into your GPS is 799 N. Hewitt Road, Ypslinati, 48192. You do not need any tickets and there is no cost to enter the event.

3. Directions

Google Maps estimates the trip from Novi High School to the Convocation Center will take approximately 35 minutes. Here are the step-by-step directions, and you can use the map above.

• Take M-14 West toward Ann Arbor - 10.5 miles
• Merge onto US-23 S via Exit 8 on the left toward Toledo - 5.3 miles
• Take Exit 37A toward M-17/Ypsilanti - 0.3 miles
• Merge onto US-23BUS S/Washtenaw Ave. Continue to follow Washtenaw Ave - 1.3 miles
• Turn left onto N. Hewitt Road - 0.3 miles
• Take the second right - 92 feet
• Slight left. Destination will be on the right. 

4. Parking

Parking is free and there is a large lot available at the Convocation Center.
