Alligator May Be On The Loose In Kent Lake In Oakland Co.: Officials

Kensington Metropark officials believe someone may have released their pet alligator into the water.

MILFORD TOWNSHIP, MI — There may be an alligator on the loose in Kent Lake at Kensington Metropark in Milford Township.

Park officials are investigating the possible sighting and have posted alligator signs around the park Thursday warning visitors to be vigilant for their safety.

If there is an alligator on the loose in the park, it was most likely someone's pet that was released into the lake, officials said.
