National Food Group, a Novi-based company, recently announced that the company donated a total of 282,000 servings (4 oz. of food per serving) to food banks in 2011: Forgotten Harvest (Metro-Detroit) and San Diego Food Bank (California).
The Motor City has had its share of tough times and National Food Group has been there to help in the fight against hunger since the company’s beginning in 1990. Making sure that wholesome food has a home is of the upmost importance, especially when people are in need.
National Food Group is pleased to announce that 67,276 servings of food will be donated to Forgotten Harvest by the end of February to help Detroit area families in facing hunger and hardship.
