Original Novi Concert Band Member Retires After Nearly 40 Years

Long-time Novi Concert Band member Ron Salow was honored by his fellow musicians at their fall concert. An original member of the band, he is retiring after nearly 40 years as a bass clarinet player. Salow is a 1951 alumni of the Michigan State University Marching Band, where he played cornet.   

The next performance of the Novi Concert Band is Sunday, Dec. 4 at 2 p.m. at the Novi . The annual holiday concert features well-loved seasonal favorites and free and friendly for all ages.
