Construction Starts At Haggerty And 14 Mile In Novi

Expect delays until the end of August. Here's a look at the project.

NOVI, MI — The City of Novi will begin work Thursday at the Haggerty and 14 Mile intersection under a permit issued by the Road Commission for Oakland County.

The intersection will remain open to traffic, but left-turns from both northbound and southbound Haggerty Road to 14 Mile Road will be prohibited. The 14 Mile Road traffic will be able to make left-turns onto Haggerty Road.

The work includes the construction of a right-turn lane from southbound Haggerty Road to westbound 14 Mile Road. Southbound Haggerty Road traffic will be shifted to the center left-turn lane during construction.
