Donate Blood in Novi Friday for the 'Battle of the Badges'

The Southeast Michigan branch of the American Red Cross is hosting blood drives throughout Oakland County on Friday.

This blood drive will face off the police vs. the fire department in the "Battle of the Badges." Donors will be able to pick to which side they would like to donate in the friendly competition.

All police and fire employees in Oakland County are encouraged to donate Friday.

You can donate at the Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to participate in the "Battle."

Or, you can donate in two other Novi locations Friday that are not part of the battle:

• , noon to 6 p.m.

To make an appointment, you can call 1-800-RED-CROSS or sign up online. Walk-ins are always welcome.
