Driver Arrested for Possession of Marijuana
The following information was supplied by the Novi Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

A Novi police officer pulled over a man after he turned left on a red light when pulling out of Twelve Oaks Mall then proceeded to swerve across three lanes of traffic on Novi Road without using a turn signal, according to a police report.
The officer stopped the driver on the entrance ramp to I-96 West on Nov. 11 at 10 p.m. While the officer was talking to the driver, he could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the car, the report said.
The man was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended license, the report said. The officer then searched the man's car and found a clear plastic bag with 13.7 grams of marijuana in it under the passenger seat of the car, the report said. The driver admitted it was his, the report said.
