1. Emergency Blood Drive
When: 6:30 to 11:15 a.m. FridayWhere: Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital - 1 William Carls Drive in Commerce
What: DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital in conjunction with the America Red Cross of Oakland County will be hosting an URGENT NEED BLOOD DRIVE on Friday, June 21 from 6:30am-11:15am. The blood drive will be held in the conference center at Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital.
2. Great American Backyard Campout
When: 9 a.m. SaturdayWhere: Island Lake State Recreation Area in Brighton
What: Campers are invited to Island Lake State Recreation Area for the first time in decades. As part of the National Wildlife Federation's initiative to encourage people to camp, you can even just set up your site for the day if you don't want to do an overnight.
3. Healing Arts Open House
When:Â 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. SaturdayWhere:Â Providence Center for the Healing Arts in Novi
What:Â Come celebrate the Summer Solstice by attending a FREE Open House at Providence Center for the Healing Arts. Jump-start a new season of holistic wellness - mind, body, and spirit - by sampling from a wide range of our programs. Classes will begin every hour starting at 8am and ending at 2pm. Drop in to as many classes as you would like. Â
