
Metroparks attendees may have to fork over more money in order to enjoy the parks should a proposal get approval from the park system’s board Thursday.
Approval would mean a raise in daily fees from $7 to $10.
A jump from $30 to $35 in annual pass fees is already in effect for 2016, according to a report in the Detroit News.

The news comes at the same time park officials plan a $500,000 upgrade to its administration offices located at Kensington Metropark in Brighton.
The fee hike would be the second in a three-year stretch, but is expected to pass at the meeting Nov. 12.
