NOVI, MI β Bob Gatt will get his fourth term as Noviβs mayor. He easily beat challengers Bin Qamruzzaman and Jason Dorsch on Election Night, taking 65.46 percent of the vote.
Qamruzzaman finished a distant second at 27.64 percent and Dorsch garnered just 6.7 percent of the vote, according to Oakland Countyβs unofficial results. Voting was sluggish at Noviβs sixth and seventh precincts at Holy Family Catholic Church with less than 300 votes cast in total, according to Precinct Supervisor Bob Copes.
βThere were no hot-button issues on this ballot,β he said. βI still think our numbers will be in the 15-18 percent range when you add in the absentee ballots.β
