Novi Library Plans Second Annual Book It! Fundraiser for April 27

Walk the red carpet and enjoy the glamour of show business at the on Friday, April 27, from 7-10:00 p.m. at the . Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the library’s multimedia collections of DVD’s, Blu-ray discs and video games.

The evening of shopping, sipping and sampling features music, entertainment, food by restaurant, and silent and live auctions with items including a Traverse City weekend condo stay, dinner for six at , and an iPad. This is a 21 years and older event with after 5:00 p.m. attire.

It’s recommended that patrons reserve their tickets now, as the event is limited to 200 attendees. Tickets can be purchased for $20/individual and $35/couple by calling Library Administration at (248) 869-7204. Cash, checks or credit card payments are accepted.

“We are so excited about this annual event and hope everyone will join us for some Hollywood fun to help build the library’s DVD, Blu-ray, and video game collections,” said Novi Public Library Director Julie Farkas.

Last year’s event raised nearly $10,000, which directly benefited the library’s Youth Collection.
