3rd Woman Accuses Attorney Mike Morse Of Sexual Assault
Morse claims the lawsuits are part of a Geoffrey Fieger 'media circus' designed to discredit him and his law firm.

(UPDATED) NOVI, MI — A third woman is accusing attorney Mike Morse of sexual assault. On Thursday, an Orchard Lake resident identified as “Jane Doe” made sexual assault allegations against Morse and is asking for in a $17.5 million in damages.
The newest allegation stems from an alleged incident in Miami on Dec. 30 last year. Jane Doe claims she was in the back seat of a vehicle with Morse when he "suddenly and without any permission, inducement, or any invitation whatsoever, (Morse) stuck his hands into Jane Doe's shirt and grabbed both of her breasts,” the Detroit Free Press reported.
Similar lawsuits have been brought against the personal-injury attorney by a Novi woman and a Hazel Park woman since last month. The women are seeking $10 million and $15 million, respectively. All three women are represented by attorney Geoffrey Fieger.

Morse so far has denied the sexual assault and harassment allegations, calling them an attempt by Fieger's law firm to extort money and besmirch his reputation, the Free Press reported. A Morse representative, John Truscott of Truscott Rossman, did not immediately return a message seeking comment Thursday on the latest allegations, the newspaper reported.

(Earlier) — A month after a Novi woman filed a $10 million civil lawsuit against personal-injury attorney Mike Morse, a second suit has been filed against him, this time alleging sexual assault. Samantha Lichon, 25, of Hazel Park, field the suit Wednesday in Oakland County saying the highly publicized attorney grabbed her in his law office and groped her breasts.
The lawsuit claims Lichon complained to her superiors at the law firm and to human resources about the allegations but no action was taken, the Detroit News reported. Lichon was fired on Feb. 17 after she was unresponsive to Morse’s advances, according to the filing. Lichon’s is being represented by equally publicized attorney Geoffrey Fieger and is seeking $15 million in damages from the civil suit, the newspaper reported.
Renee Swain, of Novi, filed a $10 million civil lawsuit against Morse also alleging sexual assault. According to the lawsuit, Morse approached Swain, whom he had never met, and began a conversation at the restaurant. He asked to take a photo with Swain and her friends, then asked if she wanted to take a selfie with him, the complaint alleges, the Detroit News reported.
Swain alleges that Morse grabbed her breasts and asked if that made the photo better. Swain went to the Farmington Hills Police Department that night to report the alleged assault, according to the lawsuit. Morse has denied her claims.
“People approach me to take selfies on a regular basis and I thought nothing of it when this woman asked,” Morse told the Detroit News last month. “But there’s something else important I want to address. This lawsuit is a bogus, manufactured lawsuit and an attempt to extort money from me by the Fieger Law Firm.”

In Lichon’s lawsuit, she alleges Morse made such comments as: “You make me so hard,” “I want to take you into my office,” “I can’t wait to see you get wild,” “I’m a good time,” “Do you still have your Hooters shirt?,” the Detroit News reported. He also allegedly invited her to his hotel room on Dec. 12, 2015, via Facebook Messenger app.
On May 15, Lichon, who had been with the firm since 2015, was contacted by one of Morse’s attorneys, Derek Brackon, and asked if she was going to file a lawsuit against Morse, according to the lawsuit, the newspaper reported. Brackon pressured her not to take such action, the lawsuit alleges.
In an emailed statement, Morse said Lichon was employed as a receptionist for about 18 months until she was terminated for cause on April 7. “She never made a complaint during the time she was employed at my firm,” Morse said in a statement. “I employ approximately 145 people, about half of whom are women. I have been in business for two decades and I have never been sued. I am not going to continue to participate in Mr. Fieger’s media circus, or his bid to attract more attention to himself and encourage baseless lawsuits. These matters will be handled in court.”
