Novi ACT/MME Results To Be Released Today

Michigan students' ACT college readiness assessment and Michigan Merit Examination results will be released Monday morning for students in Novi and in all public schools across the state.

The results were scheduled to be released at 10 a.m.

The Michigan Merit Examination (MME) assesses students in grade 11 and eligible students in grade 12 based on Michigan high school standards. It is administered each March, and consists of three components:
  • ACT Plus Writing® college entrance examination
  • WorkKeys® job skills assessments in reading, mathematics, and "locating information"
  • Michigan-developed assessments in mathematics, science, and social studies
Novi High School students scored above state average on the MME last year, and scores in all subjects in Novi increased during the 2011-12 school year. 

Novi's average composite ACT score remained at 23 last year, which it also was for the two previous years.  The ACT score was above the state average of 19 out of a possible 36.
