Novi residents celebrated the city's history Saturday at the Novi Heritage Festival at from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The free family event displayed Novi's agricultural history with demonstrations of many heritage crafts including beekeeping, maple syrup making, horseshoeing, basket making and sheep herding.

There was also music, puppet shows, food, hayrides and fishing in the Tollgate pond.
