Novi Choralaires Tour the Nation in Song
The spring concert, "Travel Across America," is Saturday.

— Submitted by the city of Novi
The Novi Choralaires, Novi’s Community Chorus, will be performing their annual spring concert on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium, at 49000 W. 11 Mile Road. The show, Travel Across America, will
include a wide variety of regional favorites from coast to coast. A beloved southern folk song, a Motown favorite and a classic western number are just a few of the songs that will be featured, along with some great traveling songs featuring planes, trains and automobiles.
Accompanied by Trenda Baldridge, this will be the Choralaires first spring concert under the new direction of Liz Wolber. The group was excited to welcome Wolber as the new artistic director in the fall. After a successful holiday concert series, Wolber has worked tirelessly to ensure the spring concert will be a lot of fun and that her first year with the group is one to remember.
The Choralaires are a chorus of men and women from Novi and the surrounding areas. The Choralaires’ annual concerts have become a tradition for many people in Novi and the surrounding communities who return year after year.
Tickets for Travel Across America are on sale now at the Novi Parks Office in the for $12 each. Tickets can also be purchased online at cityofnovi.org or at the door.
