Novi Girls Soccer Team Wins U-10 League

The recreational team has a history of performing at the top.

The Novi Parks & Recreation wildcats soccer team finished in first place in the 2012 Spring Division 1 WSSL Girls U-10 league with an undefeated season,  winning seven games and tying one.

The wildcats had the league's top defense, allowing an average of slightly more than one goal per game. Besides having the toughest defense in the league, the wildcats offense was also top-notch, averaging more than four goals per game.

The spring wildcats picked up right where they had left off in the fall when they had a perfect season, winning all eight games and allowing only a single goal during the entire season in Division 3.

Several of the current wildcats have been together now for five Park & Rec seasons, during which time they have always finished first and have had three perfect seasons.

In two seasons, the wildcat defense was so stifling that they surrendered only a single goal for the entire season. Over these five seasons, the wildcats have outscored their opponents 187-24, averaging more than 4.5 goals per game while holding their opponents to 0.5 goal per game.
