Novi Library to Host Beginning Writers Workshop

The workshop will be held on Friday, July 20 from 10 a.m. to noon.

The will host a small-group workshop on July 20 to help participants jumpstart their creative writing efforts.

The workshop will serve as an introduction to beginning writers and will be held in the meeting room on the second floor of the library from 10 a.m. to noon. Adults 18 and older are welcome.

The workshop will teach techniques designed to encourage your creativity, build your writing skills, and enable you to take your stories or poems from concept to printed page. This workshop is especially intended for people ready to write, but not sure where to start or how to begin.

People who want to write poetry, essays, short stories, novels and more are invited to attend.

The workshop is presented by Kathy Mutch, published writer and facilitator. A limited number of participants can sign up, and early registration is advised. Call the library at 248-349-0720 or go to the library's website to register.
