Novi Native Receives Award for Graduating MSU With 4.0

graduate Elizabeth Gutowski was honored by the Michigan State University Board of Trustees Friday for graduating the university with a perfect 4.0. 

Gutowski is among the 37 students — the most in recent history — who received Board of Trustees' Awards for having the highest GPAs at the close of their last semesters.

Gutowski is the daughter of Ronald and Connie Gutowski. She is an education major and a member of the Honors College.

MSU President Lou Anna K. Simon presented Gutowski and each of the other students with an award at the Board of Trustees meeting.

The students will also be honored during their commencements May 4-6.
