Novi Offers Free Transportation to Cooling Centers Today
Beat the heat by enjoying the cool air conditioning of one of three centers.
The City of Novi is offering free transportation to anyone who needs access to one of the city's three cooling centers between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Friday. Schedule transportation by calling 248-735-5617.
The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Warning until 9 p.m. Friday for southeast Michigan, as high temperatures and humidity may drive heat index levels to 105-110.
