Novi Offers Last Chance for Camp Before Summer's End

Kids join Novi's "Get Real Camp" in their last week of summer vacation.

School is just around the corner but it's not too late to enroll your children in a summer camp. 

The City of Novi Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department presents its third annual "Get Real Camp." The camp, for children ages 9 to 14, runs the last week of summer break: noon to 4 p.m. Aug. 26 to 30. 

At "Get Real Camp," participants will create and compete in a variety of challenges from popular reality TV shows such as Minute to Win It, America’s Got Talent, the Amazing Race, Top Chef and more.

The deadline to register is Aug. 23. The price is $125 for residents and $150 for non-residents. Register online or at the Novi Civic Center, 45175 Ten Mile Road. 

Campers will gather at Township Hall, located in Fuerst Park at the corner of Ten Mile and Taft Roads.
