Novi Schools Closed for Snow Day

A snowfall overnight resulted in the second "snow day" of the year in Novi.

The Novi Community School District announced the school closing, due to weather and poor road conditions. 

All Community Ed, Adult Ed and Alternative Ed programs and classes are canceled for the day and evening. All athletic games are also canceled.

Detroit Catholic Central High School and Northville Public Schools are also closed today.

More than 300 school districts in southeast Michigan were closed Friday, according to various news reports. 

Today's forecast calls for more snow, according to the National Weather Service.
