Pakistan Independence Day Celebration Returns to Novi

The Pakistan Association of America (PAA) presents its Pakistan Independence Day Celebration 2012 on Saturday, July 14 from noon until 10 p.m. at the . 

The Pakistan Independence Day Celebration is one of the largest events hosted by PAA, and the organization continues to make strides in creating events that the Pakistani community can come together and celebrate its culture and country in a fun environment, as well as educate people of all ethnic backgrounds on the history, customs and traditions of Pakistanis. 

This year’s celebration will include live entertainment, as well as food from well-known restaurants, rides for children and youth, retail and jewelry vendors and much more.  

Admission for the event will be $5 per person for non-members and free for members. Entry for children under 10 years of age will be free and parking will be $5 per car. 

Sponsors for the event are General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Beaumont Health System and Vonage, as well as many individual sponsors.  For the first time in PAA's history, two automakers – General Motors and Ford Motor Company – will be showcasing some of their vehicles at the event.
