Part Of I-96 In Oakland County Closing Thursday Night To Cleanup Crash
There were no injuries in the crash, according to officials.
OAKLAND COUNTY, MI — A section of Interstate 96 in Oakland County will shut down Thursday evening so crews can cleanup a semi truck crash, according to officials.
Officials said the truck's driver lost control of the semi and overturned into a ditch just off the freeway's eastbound lanes between Beck Road in Novi roads early Thursday morning at 1:30 a.m.
The freeway reopened Thursday morning at 6:40 a.m., but officials said they will shut the freeway's eastbound lanes back down Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. to remove the semi and debris.

The freeway's eastbound lanes are expected to reopen at 3 a.m. Friday morning, according to officials.
