
Oakland County Sheriff's deputies recovered 81 marijuana plants and 1 1/2 pounds of packaged marijuana Monday during a bust in Orion Township, according to an incident report.
Deputies responded Monday to a home at the 800 block of Laird after the owner of the home notified a dispatcher of suspicious activity, according to the report. The home owner reportedly was notified by a friend that there was a vehicle in the driveway of the home with a U-Haul trailer attached.
When deputies investigated the scene, they found a large amount of marijuana plants inside the home, as well as in another structure on the property, the report indicated.
The Oakland County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Enforcement Team responded to the scene and recovered 81 marijuana plants and 1 1/2 pounds of packaged marijuana after obtaining a search warrant, the report indicated. According to the report, the investigation is ongoing.
Deputies arrested a 20-year-old Orion Township man, who is lodged at Oakland County Jail.
