Funeral arrangements have been made for Jenny Acree, 85, who following a battle with cancer.
Acree, who is affectionately known as 'Grandma' to many patrons of the in Goodison, was born in Detroit on July 8, 1926. She grew up near Rochester and Big Beaver roads in Troy and married on Sept. 3, 1943; George passed away on Nov. 18, 1976.
Visitation for Acree is Wednesday from 3-8 p.m. at Pixley Funeral Home in Rochester. Acree's funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Pixley Funeral Home; Acree will be buried at White Chapel Cemetery.
