Lake Orion pitcher Nick Degg was drafted Saturday by the Detroit Tigers on the third day of the MLB First-Year Player Draft, according to the Oakland Press.
According to the report, the Tigers selected Degg, ranked by Baseball America as the sixth-best baseball prospect in Michigan, in the 37th round of the draft. He is a Central Michigan University commit.
