Female Coach, 21, Accused of Inappropriate Relations With Lacrosse Player
Reanna Douglas is charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct in an incident that allegedly occurred while she coached the Lake Orion girls' lacrosse team.

A 21-year-old Auburn Hills woman who once coached girls lacrosse at Lake Orion High School is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a 15-year-old girl.Â
According to a news release from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, Reanna Dawn Douglas was arraigned Thursday in 52-3 District Court on a third-degree criminal sexual conduct charge, which is punishable by 15 years in prison if convicted. Douglas does not have a prior criminal history, according to the news release.Â
"On August 24, 2012, Sheriff’s Office detectives learned of an inappropriate relationship between the defendant and a 15-year-old female," the news release said. "The relationship began while the suspect was contracted to coach the Lake Orion High School girl’s lacrosse team.

"Upon learning of the incident the family of the victim immediately reported the crime to the Sheriff’s Office Orion Township Substation. Once notified of the incident Lake Orion Community Schools immediately terminated the contract with Ms. Douglas."
According to a report in the Detroit Free Press, Douglas is scheduled to appear at a pre-exam conference on Tuesday before Judge Julie Nicholson.Â
