Hoffa Search to Resume at 10 a.m. in Oakland Township
Still no Hoffa after first day of search.
The FBI's search of an Oakland Township property for Jimmy Hoffa's remains will resume today at 10 a.m., according to Oakland County Sheriff's deputies patrolling the scene.
FBI agents worked all day Monday at a property on Buell Road by Adams and Orion roads in Oakland Township, a location identified by tipster Anthony J. Zerilli as the burial site for the former Teamsters leader. Hoffa disappeared in July 1975.
The FBI is following a tip from the 85-year-old Zerilli, a close confidant of Hoffa who claims to be one of the few remaining people with intimate knowledge of the events leading to Hoffa's mysterious disappearance.Â
The activity drew a number of curious onlookers throughout the day, forced to look from a distance because of Sheriff's patrols parked on Buell Road at both ends of the property.

David Chasnick, Zerilli's Novi-based lawyer, said Monday that Zerilli was thrilled the search was coming to fruition.
"(Zerilli) is absolutely thrilled the Hoffa family may get peace from this," he said.Â

Chasnick said he firmly believes Hoffa's remains are in the field.
"Hoffa's body is in that field," he said. "No doubt about it."
According to Zerilli's account, which he is selling on his website, www.hoffafound.com, Hoffa is buried beneath a slab where a barn once stood on the property.
Former U.S. Attorney Keith Corbett, who spoke with media Monday morning, said he hopes something turns up during the search that can give the family closure and close the case of Hoffa's mysterious disappearance.Â
