Hot Blues and BBQ Festival Returns to Canterbury Village on Saturday

Enjoy hot blues, great food at Canterbury Village.

Some of the region’s very best blues talent will be showcased at the 7th annual “Hot Blues and BBQ” Festival at Canterbury Village on Saturday, July 20
presented by Oskar Blues Brewery.

Steve Allen, Event Coordinator for the Detroit Blues Society and Festival Director, is excited to be hosting this event at Canterbury Village on July 20 after a two-year hiatus.

"We decided to hold the Fest at Canterbury Village because of the ample parking, interesting shopping, family atmosphere, and the village-type setting,” Allen says.

The Hot Blues and BBQ Festival features music by Greg Nagy, The Boa Constrictors with specail guests Paz Man of WCSX, Broken Arrow Blues Band, Dirty Basement  Blues Band, Heather Jones and Jones’n’, Big Smooth and the Hellraisers, and Sweet Willie Tea. The blues begins at noon and runs until 11 p.m.
