Oakland County Judge Kwame Rowe exceeded the sentencing guidelines, calling Williams' actions "egregious, despicable crimes." He also cited Williams' repeated violations of the judge’s orders, according to prosecutors.
"This was a horrific crime," Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald said. "My top priorities are public safety and holding violent criminals accountable, and I am so proud of the work of my Special Victims Unit and Chief Sarah Greene. I also applaud Judge Rowe’s decision, which will keep our community safe from this dangerous predator and will hopefully provide the victim with some peace, knowing that this defendant will not be able to victimize her or others."
