A 19-year-old man is facing charges after selling marijuana to a minor, according to the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office.
CLARKSTON, MI β A 19-year-old man is facing charges after selling marijuana to a minor, according to the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office.
Krisopher Halterman was charged with intent to distribute marijuana in the case and faces up to four years behind bars.
Prosecutors said Halterman sold THC and nicotine vape products to the 12-year-old boy outside his elementary school. Officers identified Halterman as the seller after a parent reported their child had purchased the products, prosecutors said.

Officers then found THC, vape devices, marijuana and several thousand dollars in cash while searching Halterman's grandparents' basement, prosecutors said.
"This defendantβs alleged actions are shocking," Prosecutor Karen McDonald said. "Selling drugs to school children puts their health and safety at risk, and I commend the parent who discovered this crime and made our community safer by calling the police."
