Oakland Township Teen Killed in ATV Crash at Silver Lake

An Oakland County teen was killed Thursday in an ATV crash at Silver Lake State Park in Michigan's Oceana County, according to WZZM-TV.

According to the station the victim was identified as Cody J. Mong, 19, of Oakland Township. The accident occurred at about 5:30 p.m. on Thursday and left a second person seriously injured, the station reported.

Lt. Craig Mast of the Oceana County Sheriff's Department told the station the driver was ejected from the ATV when it rolled over after lost control while heading down a steep hill.
