A local musician is taking his idea for a local music festival center stage.
Doug Gibson, told the Lake Orion Review he was looking for a festival for his band, California Road Trip, to perform this summer. Not finding any takers, felt compelled to start the Wildwood Music Festival which runs 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday at the Wildwood Amphitheatre at Civic Center Park across from Canterbury Village.
The event features the following acts:
- Brittany Adams with Highway 23, noon
- Vocal and piano solos, 1:30 p.m.
- California Road Trip, 3 p.m.
- School of Rock Rochester House Band, 4:30 p.m.
- We 3 and She, 6 p.m.
- Seize, 7:30 p.m.
