• Michigan farmers grow record wheat crop in 2025 (world-grain.com) — Owendale farmer Jeffery Krohn, who chairs the Michigan Wheat Program board, is among the growers helping Michigan set a record 90-bushel-per-acre wheat yield in 2025. The statewide program he helps lead has invested in research, new wheat varieties, and high-management practices that are boosting yields well above the national average and strengthening Michigan’s grain economy.
