2 Canton Pediatricians Named 'Mom Approved' Best Docs

Canton pediatricians Mark Hakim and Meera Raghunathan are recognized as some of the best in metro Detroit.

Metro Parent's "2013 Mom Approved Docs Best Doctors in Southeast Michigan" list looks at the best family health-care providers in Oakland, Wayne, Macomb and Washtenaw counties. The two pediatricians' patients nominated them for a spot on the list of 120 doctors released earlier this year.

"Dr. Hakim is an excellent pediatrician who listens and communicates well and spends lots of time with his patients. He never makes us feel rushed, but also never makes us wait. I trust his expertise and knowledge for my kids, as well as his concern for them," said his patient Laurie W. from Ypsilanti, according to Metro Parent.

Raghunathan's patient Beckey G., of Dearborn, told Metro Parent that she has always been wonderful to her three kids. 

"She has been our pediatrician for nine years and three kids, and has always been wonderful to my kids. She always manages to see us even if it is a last-minute appointment. She always answers my questions without hesitation. Her staff respects her. My kids listen to everything she tells them. I can't imagine not having her as my pediatrician. Dr. R rocks!"
