5 Places to Donate Blood in November

Here are five local places to donate blood as we head into the holidays.

Approximately every two seconds a patient in the United States needs blood, according to the American Red Cross.

During the month of November, donors will be eligible to win a $250 gift card for a Thanksgiving feast. 

Walk-ins are always welcome, but donors are encouraged to schedule an appointment in advance by calling 1-800-RED CROSS or redcrossblood.org. 

Here are five local places where Plymouth and Canton residents can donate during the month of November.

Nov. 8 from 10 a.m.- 3:45 p.m.

  • Canton Public Library, 1200 Canton Center Rd., Canton: Thankful for our donors! Come to donate and be entered to win a $250 Thanksgiving Feast Gift Card.
Nov. 18 from 1 p.m. - 6:45 p.m.
  • St. John's Episcopal Church, 574 S. Sheldon Rd., Plymouth: Come to donate and be entered to win a $250 Thanksgiving Feast Gift Card.
Nov. 24 from 7:30 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.
  • St. Kenneth Catholic Church, 14951 Haggerty Rd., Plymouth: Come to donate and be entered to win a $250 Thanksgiving Feast Gift Card.
Nov. 26 from 1:30 p.m. - 7:15 p.m.
  • Geneva United Presbyterian Church, 5853 Sheldon Rd., Canton: Come to donate and be entered to win a $250 Thanksgiving Feast Gift Card
Nov. 29 at 11:30 a.m. - 5:15 p.m.
